About this Program

Appointment-based counseling services to help with a wide range of issues. 

Counseling available in English – Mental Health support and service navigation available in English and Swahili.


Counselling sessions are culturally centered, relevant and affirming, and address issues and concerns such as: anxiety and depression, grief and loss, anger management, intergenerational, family and peer relationship distress, self-esteem, racial trauma, oppression and microaggression, chronic pain and/or chronic illness, burnout, migration and displacement and life transitions. Our services are provided through a By Us, For Us lens - Counsellors understand the familial, cultural, and societal realities that impact the emotional & physical wellness of Black communities


We will also utilize interpretation services when needed (interpretation services available in 170+ languages).


Immediate counselling is available on Counselling Connect's ACB Hub.
