National Day of Action on Overdose Crisis
We are in the midst of Canada's worst overdose epidemic.
One person dies of an overdose every 13 hours in Ontario. Thousands of people have died across the country. When SARS hit, funding was released, networks sprang up, and health care workers were redeployed. Why has the response to the overdose crisis been so slow? The lives of people who use drugs are not disposable. Overdose is preventable.
Support the National Day of Action to raise awareness and demand real action on the overdose crisis.
Join the Ottawa rally on Tuesday, February 21 at 12 p.m. at the Centennial flame - Parliament Hill.
