Let’s Talk! Free Community Mental Health Services
Somerset West Community Health Centre is committed to providing residents of Ottawa with the services they need to improve their overall health and well-being. We recognize the growing concern over mental health issues. We also know that limited access to mental health services has an impact on people's well-being. That’s why we’re proud to offer a range of counselling and support services for residents of our service area. Like all our services, they are FREE.

Individual, short-term counselling services for adults to help with personal and relationship problem, domestic violence, and abuse. Counselling is available by appointment in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Cambodian.

Walk-In Counselling Clinic
Counselling for individuals, couples, and families in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. No appointment necessary. Drop in!
To start talking | Drop by the Eccles Branch on Tuesdays between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Social Services Walk-In
For people who need immediate help with a personal crisis, we offer practical assistance, support, and information and referrals Monday to Friday on a drop-in basis. Services are in English, no appointment needed.
To start talking | Drop by the Eccles Branch (Monday to Friday) or the Rosemount Branch (Tuesday to Friday) between 1 to 4 p.m.
Monthly workshops to learn ways to improve health and wellness! Topics include mindfulness, assertiveness, and coping with stress.
